We have a range of services and clinicians available to help you.
Counselling
We have psychologists, counsellors and other allied health professionals available to assist with individual, couples and family counselling. Please contact us and we can provide the fees for each service and the clinician you wish to see.
Group Programs / Seminars
We have delivered group treatments, structured programs (e.g., Individualised Men's Behaviour Change, Mindfulness Training, Psycho-education Courses), and seminars for workplaces. Please contact us with the details of what program or seminar you're interested in and the most relevant clinical will get back to you.
Assessments / Reports
We offer assessments and reports for a range of issues. We have extensive experience with reports for injury and trauma-related claims.

Rebates

The majority of services offered at Shaw Psychology are eligible for rebates from:

Cancellation Policy

If you need to change or reschedule an appointment, Shaw Psychology requires at least 48 hours notice. If the need to cancel or reschedule arises, please contact us by phone or email.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with 0-24 hours notice will incur the full fee of the service if your appointment cannot be filled by another client.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with 24-48 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% if your appointment cannot be filled by another client.
All psychologists at Shaw Psychology are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and have Medicare provider numbers, enabling you to claim a Medicare rebate for your counselling and group appointments.
To claim these rebates, you must have a referral from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician before the initial appointment. There are several plans under which you can claim a rebate from Medicare and the rates vary between plans and psychologists.
